DJI Dock 4 technical reference
DJI Dock 4 specifications.
A practical specification summary for procurement, engineering, network, and deployment teams evaluating DJI Dock 4 with Matrice 5TD.

Dock specifications.
DJI Dock 4 changes the turnaround model from charging the aircraft inside the dock to automatically swapping its battery. It is intended for continuous remote operations where response time and repeat mission availability matter.

Network and O4 Ground Station.
DJI Dock 4 must be used with the DJI O4 Ground Station. DJI recommends Gigabit Ethernet, with both uplink and downlink bandwidth above 20 Mbps; 40 Mbps or higher is recommended when no external devices are connected. Network latency should be no more than 100 ms for a better operating experience.
The O4 Ground Station uses PoE and requires outdoor-rated, waterproof Cat 6 or better twisted-pair Ethernet cable. DJI specifies a maximum cable length of 80 m and recommends the supplied cable for runs shorter than 5 m.
How long does a DJI Dock 4 battery swap take?
DJI states that the automated battery swap takes 25 seconds, measured from the time the dock cover is fully closed. The minimum interval between consecutive operations is 45 seconds in a controlled test environment.
Which aircraft works with DJI Dock 4?
DJI Dock 4 is designed for DJI Matrice 5TD and must be used with the DJI O4 Ground Station.
What is the maximum DJI Matrice 5TD flight time?
DJI lists a maximum flight time of 59 minutes under controlled test conditions. Actual flight time varies with payload, weather, altitude, route and battery condition.
What are the DJI Dock 4 IP ratings?
DJI Dock 4 is rated IP56 and DJI Matrice 5TD is rated IP55. Follow DJI installation, maintenance and operating guidance for the deployed environment.
